Sorry about the loud âdingâ sounds when images are presented in the video. This was one of my first videos and I wasnât so hot at editing yet! Please forgive me!
Thatâs really cool. I am 52yo and learned C++ all by myself in 1991-1992. This led me to code damn cool systems and understand how the system worked under the hood. Fast forward to present day, I am running my own business since 22+ years and everything had been paid by writing code, specs, and stuff related to code in this beauty of a place I would never ever have dreamed of when I was debugging low level concurrent serial port code in the corner of the bedroom. Code is power.

Iâve been coding professionally for +20 years and enjoyed this video very much. You have the drive to do what most donât.
thanks for putting out this information and telling us about your journey. I have always struggled with code but also always knew that I really need to be just sitting down and forcing myself to know it intimately if I want to really get a good job somewhere. I look forward to watching more of your videos and reaching out from time to time when I get discouraged with the process. thanks again.
Great video, inspiring stuff! I chipped away at coding for an hour or two a day for a year before learning full-time for 8 weeks until I get my first job. Itâs a grind but one Iâll never regret
Itâs incredible that you did ALL of this in just 3 months. Honestly, I would have have sat just with one of these for more than 3 months. Shows me where and what I need to work on(mostly mental). Thanks for this video. Hope you upload more content
I always keep coming back to this video for some direction!
Thank you for your story, sir. Iâm 30, CFA L3, work in IB, but I started to feel what you felt in PE companies :) the pure finance / lead advisory practice is enough for me. Your story gives me a hope.
Thanks for the advice bro! Im on a similar path, just did 4 years of business and honestly, I feel like if a person wants to study business take micro/macro economics and watch CNBC for 6 months. Alot of business comes down to policies and procedures and studying algorithms and being able to create software puts you in a much more powerful position in a business setting. Iâm self studying programming and will use you tips. Thanks again.
This video is perhaps the best guide to learn anything you want. Currently implenting it, and I got to say. It works like a charm!
I love you in a brotherly way thank you for using your energy to teach us your wisdom and understandings
I love you story. Watch your video for the second time today. I find that itâs hard to focus in on one thing and you have done a great job of it. Technology is such a large topic. Thank you for the video, honesty, the passion, and energy you bring to us. Again thank you. There are so many youtubers with videos out there and you can tell itâs not genuine and honest.
Coding Jesus you are great man. Really love your content. Big Fan :)
This moment I just have a cellphone and no laptop or desktop, but this inspires me to code with what I have in hands or gaining more estabilished focus starting from that point. (Also using this comment as a notebook for picking up important stuff): 1. Books 2. Videos. 3. Leetcode problems 4. Pet Projects

This video is completely unedited, and he really talks about his experiences, I love this guy.
Yes. This year I started with some pet projects. 1) an etl tool 2) an awk clone for windows 3) a scripting language whose main feature is talking to serial and network connected devices
This guy taught himself C++ on his own, not much people has such courage
One of the best vids on this subject Iâve seen on YT, and Iâve seen a lot.
His advices are pretty practical. Grab that book and learn your basics! And drill those leetcode, but 300 of them is too much⊠100 should be more than enough as long as your practices are deliberate. If you want those good size company and good salary, you will need those basics and leetcode - unless you have got some super duper awesome unforgettable projects.
This channel is a hidden gem! I really love your videos CJ!
